Travel trailers are 58% of the fleet at a $135 median. A Class A motorhome lists at $287.50, 2.1 times as much, and makes up only 7%. If you own a trailer, you join the largest group, so condition and photos decide how often it books. If you own a Class A, you add supply the network is short on.

Only 57 of the 701 listings accept long-term stays, and 609 offer delivery. If you will take month-long renters, or your RV can be delivered to a campsite, say so on the form, because both change which renters it reaches.

Which of these RVs actually get booked? Our study of 582 established listings found that RVs offering delivery book 38% more often, and that pricing below the class median does not bring more bookings: which RVs get booked most.

How does RV rental management work?

You supply the RV. Fireside’s local team manages renters, logistics, turnovers and day-to-day questions, and you receive owner payouts from completed rentals on the schedule in your management agreement.

How much can I earn renting out my RV?

Fireside does not publish an earnings figure, and public listings show only asking rates. Across its 701 listed RVs the median is $155 a day. A travel trailer’s median is $135 and a Class A motorhome’s is $287.50 (read October 6, 2026). Income depends on how many nights book, which no public data shows.

Is my RV insured while it is rented?

700 of Fireside’s 701 listings carry a Wheelbase protection plan for the rental (Towable, Drivable or Camper Van Protection). Wheelbase sets what each plan covers, so ask for the plan terms before you sign.

Can I still use my own RV?

Yes. Fireside’s owner page says the RV remains yours, and personal-use dates should be blocked before renter reservations are confirmed.

Is there a long-term commitment?

Fireside says terms vary by market and management agreement. Ask for the terms for your area when we reply to your form.
